Things to Do in Kew

Our beautiful setting and buzzing local area makes us the perfect base for exploring all South West London has to offer.

From some of the largest royal parks teaming with wildlife, to friendly neighbourhoods full of trendy bars & boutique shops.

After Kew Garden-ing or Central London-ing, you’ll be content in the knowledge that our lovely pub (with delicious food and comfy room) awaits you at the end of a great day.

Kew Gardens

If you’ve never spent a day happily wandering around Kew Gardens, then you’ve missed a trick.

It’s more than sniffing carnations, and chasing butterflies (although that is still quite a lot of fun) There are five glasshouses to explore, where you can take a gander at Kew’s giant waterlilies – biggest in the world, don’t you know – and there’s even a dedicated children’s garden too.

Twickenham & Brentford

Community Stadium

Kew is rugby central with Twickenham so close by and London Irish Rugby Union’s new home being within a 5 minute walk from us.  Make the most of supporting your team with a sport-y stay over, and explore the area after the match.

River Thames

Catch a cruise boat down to Westminster or up to Hampton court and enjoy the lovely views whilst gliding along the Thames – like this beautiful swan here. You’ll likely see plenty more of your jaunt.

Explore Richmond

From shopping to theatre, and trendy cafes along the river, Richmond has something for everyone.

Take a long walk through the natural beauty of Richmond Park to spot the deer, or climb some trees (if you’re that way inclined)
